Gardening Committee
The Gardening Committee is a group of people who enjoy being outdoors and gardening, and who are dedicated to beautifying the church grounds. No one has any professional landscaping experience and anyone at any age is welcome to participate. This is a fun family activity, including for students who need to complete service hour requirements. Members with experience guide new members in the tasks needed. They prepare and plant the flower beds in the spring at the church and administration building, and maintain them on a rotating weekly basis over the summer, by watering, weeding and deadheading. In the fall mums are planted and the flower beds are cleaned up by the group.
